Spreading our wings with aerial surveys
J C White Geomatics have their own UAV (drone) pilot! We are now spreading our wings with aerial surveys.
Employee Sam Hindess has now successfully completed his PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) Training and is now qualified to carry out aerial works within regulations outlined by the CAA. Sam not only achieved his daytime licence but is also authorised to fly at night.
Having a qualified UAV (drone) pilot opens up a raft of fantastic new opportunities for using aerial imagery to further enhance our surveys in Kent and across the south east of England.
Mounte Browne – Surrey Police Headquarters
Following police vetting and security checks, J C White Geomatics have recently completed an extensive 2-day feasibility survey at Mounte Browne, Surrey Police Headquarters, in Guildford, using orthographic imagery & LIDAR data accompanied by more traditional surveying methods across the 22 hectare site.
