Award of Ashford Borough Council Consultancy

We are pleased to announce our successful bid for a 5 year Topographical Consultancy Agreement with Ashford Borough Council. This will provide a sustained workload for our busy survey teams.

Purchase of New X130 Faro Laser Scanner

Due to the increasing demand for laser scanning and our continued quest to invest in the latest technology we have purchased the new X130 Faro Scanner.

It is small, light, has a range of 130m, utilises in-built photo ability and a class 1 laser.

Threadneedle Street

Laser Scanning to Model at Merchant Taylors’ Hall

The scanning team undertook a small but interesting project for the dynamic multi-media company 'Drive Productions' at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in Threadneedle Street, London.

The client required an accurate 3d model of part of the hall to enable their design team to create a visual spectacular utilising immersive 4d Projection Mapping.

Training Courses

Two Training Courses for Surveying and Setting Out are being run by J C White Geomatics for Costain in August.

Upgrade of Equipment

All computers, software and server have recently been upgraded to enable us to deal with the upturn in workload more efficiently.


We welcome 4 new members of staff:

Marion Lang who has joined the scanning team having 15 years' experience in architecture.

Alex LeGassick who is our new Industrial Placement and two new Trainee Surveyors, Jack Turnbull and James Bray.


As a summer social the staff when to 20/20 cricket in Canterbury.

It was an exciting match and Kent beat Surrey. It was a lovely sunny evening and some of the younger team members went on into the early hours in Canterbury. Good job it was a Friday night!
