J C White Geomatics work at South Foreland Lighthouse, Buckmore Park Race Track, Charing Cross Station and Dungeness Power Station.

South Foreland Lighthouse, St Margaret’s Bay, Kent

J C White Geomatics incorporated a number of survey techniques whilst capturing and recording detailed survey information of South Foreland Lighthouse at St. Margaret's Bay, near Dover. The work was carried out for Canterbury Archaeological Trust on behalf of The National Trust. The team utilised traditional survey methods along with a full 3d laser scan of the lighthouse, this was further enhanced with a comprehensive UAV flight to capture the surrounding terrain and cliff profiles. All UAV work was carried out by Atec3D.

Buckmore Park, Chatham, Kent

J C White Geomatics have completed the supply of LIDAR data for the first stage in the design of a proposed track extension to bring it up to international standard.

A laser scan survey was completed for Drive Productions to enable part of Charing Cross Station to be used as a ‘Ghost Station’ for film productions.

Setting Out Dungeness B Station, Kent

Setting out and a 3d laser scan survey have been completed for Redhall Nuclear Ltd which was required for the installation of new pipework.
